Nowadays, there are more and more studies that are being conducted regarding green tea metabolism. These studies show that due to catechins and caffeine inside the green tea metabolism inside the body is executed. Through this process, we are able to lose weight. Therefore, we can even have slimmer bodies. Through the said studies, we are also able to learn about the green tea metabolism limitations and cons.

Green tea metabolism active substances for weight loss

Even before the technology we have now, green tea has always been known to eliminate the bodys excess fats. This happens due to the contents of the tea. Catechins, or specifically known as epigallocatchin gallate, helps in producing heat in the body. This process is known as thermogenesis that aids in eliminating excess fats. The thermogenesis is then initialized by another element known as norephinephrine.

There are also other substances that are responsible in restraining the norephinephrine. Such substances are called monoamine oxidase. Since there is a potent content of epigallocatechin gallate in green tea metabolism, thermogenesis is still in advantage. This just means that weight loss will still happen for everyone who drinks the tea. Catechins found in green tea is said to be more potent than that of other types of teas in the market. This is the result of not fermenting the tea leaves. Therefore, green tea metabolism is very effective with daily consumption.

Green Tea Metabolism Limitations

Green tea metabolism is the effect of the combined power of catechins and caffeine. Both substances have high potency in green tea. There is even a study that shows result of daily consumption of tea in weight loss and lesser waist line measurement. But when they tried giving only catechins to the study partakers, it doesnt give the expected results. This just means that without the caffeine, catechins will not act as a weight loss agent.

Although green tea metabolism shows good result in weight loss, it still has cons. There are health organizations that contradict the consumption of too much green tea metabolism. Too much green tea metabolism can get the liver poisoned. Too much of anything is bad, so one should know the right amount that you should take to have good results. Another unwanted result of too much green tea is pain in the abdomen, and may even get your skin or eyes turn yellow. The reason for this, however, is not yet found.
