Often times these types of shops employ a large selection to choose from. Most of the clothing there originate from someones estate that may have passed away, or perhaps someone cleaned out an attic full of old items through the years and donated them to the good will or previously owned shops.

Yet another excellent spot to search for vintage clothing are community or personal garage or rummage sales, newspaper ads can direct you to these types of sales in your area. There are plenty of places now to locate vintage clothing, it's virtually impossible to list every one of them. Anything from dresses, suits, shoes, even bathing suits are able to be found. You need to simply know where to find authentic pieces and not remakes.
