#1 Gianicolo- If you really want to make this a romantic holiday then head to Gianicolo. It's up on a hill behind Trastevere, which provides you with a magnificent view of Rome. If you take the time to research the area online, there will be plenty of accommodations available. Finding one around Gianicolo will be easy.

Plus, if you take advantage of this activity then the accommodations in this area will save you travel money.

#2 Tours in the City- The best approach to see the heart of Rome is by taking a tour throughout the city. There is so much to see you couldn't do it all in a weekend or even a week. You can see everything from the Spanish Steps to the Pantheon Temple. There are even Vatican Tours available if you can find them.

No matter what holiday activity you plan to do there will always be accommodations in Rome nearby.

#3 Even Pizza is Romantic- When it comes to the food in Rome, pizza can be just as romantic as any other meal. One of the best places to go is Roscioli. Getting a reservation in advance is a must, and try to see if you can sit downstairs. If you're lucky enough, you can have a delicious pizza while enjoying the romantic setting on the lower level.

There are several accommodations in Rome nearby Roscioli, so if you stay nearby we recommend making it a mandatory dinner at least once.
