Grand Prix New York (GPNY) in Mount Kisco has begun registration for its junior racing summer camps. The five day camps are open to young racers from seven to 16 years of age and offer novice and advanced training, both of which include different levels of classroom discussion and professional karting instruction. The camps span five weeks and racers are welcome to register for one five day camp or multiple camps. Upon the successful completion of each camp, participating
junior racers are presented with graduation credentials. Graduates are approved to drive in GPNY"s professional leagues and are also entitled to access the facility"s advanced
karting track during future visits.
The first novice camp begins on Monday, July 11 and the first advanced camp begins on Monday, July 18. Camp runs from 9a.m. to 3p.m. daily and includes lunch from GPNY"s in-house award-winning restaurant, FUEL. Additionally, GPNY offers an Extended Day option from 3p.m. to 6p.m. which includes Arrive & Drive racing, arcade, billiards, and laser tag.
