The Gran Turismo sequence is in my opinion the best racing simulator ever. It’s a requiring game and some times it might get frustrating. It takes time to get used to the controls and to the game itself. But the game has been made that way it is made as a simulator and not as a arcade game. It’s the closest you can get to the real life.


The developers have always done a great job with offering the gamers the most realistic experience. Due to this some might find the game frustrating but that’s the way it was meant to be. It is not Need for Speed or Burnout Paradise or any other arcade game you don’t have some impossible boosts or take a corner with 250 km/h. Gran Turismo 4 has great physics and if you are looking for a super realistic game then this is for you.


The game is pretty hard, even after you have improved your driving skills and have bought quicker cars it will take you literally hundreds of hours to complete the full game. And even after that you will wish for more. The graphics are very good but still they can’t match those of its main challenger Forza Motorsport. I think that’s the only part where Gran Turismo falls back. In all other aspects GT is better.


The physics have been renewed since the previous Gran Turismo and it made a big difference. That segment was good in the previous game but now it’s just incredible. All the G forces, the tilt of the cars and everything else are so realistic. The biggest trouble of Gran Turismo 4 is the fact that there is no damage to the cars. This means that you can hit other cars, barriers and walls the car will be in perfect condition. And some guys do hit other players or walls in order to get in front.


There is an awesome feature in the game which teaches you all the essential things you have to master and then if you pass the tests it gives you a licence. I find this a very good way to build your skills up. Even if you have never played a racing game before you could become a decent racer. There are more than seven hundred different cars from over eighty manufacturers. In every car you can play from three different viewing angles.


Gran Turismo is the best racing simulator on the market for some time and it has some rival but still none of them can claim to be better. Gran Turismo 4 is a must have for every car lover who has PlayStation.
