The National SMART grant are for American citizens who are studying for courses in mathematics, physical life, technology or engineering and the eligible students are granted up to $4000 towards their third and fourth years of undergraduate studies. An important point to be noted here is that to qualify for all the other federal grants, it is a must that the applicants also are Pell Grant eligible.

The American Opportunity Tax Credit program comes as a surprise to all the mothers which facilitates in considering the initial fees of $4000 of any higher education as free. This is a huge option for the mothers to exploit and to put to use. The grants and aids are mostly for the programs which can be studied online and hence saves a lot of time and proves extremely convenient to the mothers.
