Got Thick Long Hair - Useful Hairstyling Tips

Though long, thick hair can be luxurious for some, it is a pain for others. The hassles of washing and detangling leave women exhausted over. Try to remove the stress out of your routine and try simple, trendy styles.
Follow some of these tips to tame your long, thick hair.

Low Side Ponytail

Dry your hair with blow dryer and pin straight with a paddle brush. Apply a heat protectant to protect your natural curl pattern, if your hair has natural waves or curls. After blow drying, run a shine serum through your ends and work it up to your roots with your fingers. Divide the hair to one side and fix the hair into a low ponytail on the opposite side of the part. Let your long hair to cascade down your shoulder.
Long Bohemian Waves

This style is very simple and easy to work out. Spray your unwashed hair with water from a spray bottle to make it slightly wet. Make into two halves, a left half and a right half. Ponytail each half and secure the ends with an elastic. After applying a texturizing spray on the hair, wait for 30 minutes. Now, release the hair from its braids and apply a shine spray to the hair. Your shiny hairs do not come across any curls due to the shine serum. A headband will be adequate for this style.
Pulled-Back Crimped Hair

Use blow dryer with a paddle brush to dry your wet hair. When it is completely dry, apply a heat protectant to the hair. Gather one-inch wide sections of hair at a time, until the entire head is crimped. Use a shine spray for spraying and run your fingers through the crimped hair. Then, pull the top section of hair back from the front and secure with a large clip and tease the crown of the head. This adds volume to your crimped style. The hairstyle now looks fine with shine spray and a thin headband.
