- Flat superficial moles are the mole of preference for this procedure. If the mole is attached deeper into the skin this will not be the removal method of choice.

- In some cases, one session of laser therapy treatment may not be enough. Sometimes an additional session is required to completely remove a stubborn mole.

- A slight skin discoloration may occur on the area impacted with the laser beam. Prescription creams are used to help with this problem.
