Got Belly Bloat? Here Are 5 Steps To Get Rid Of Belly Bloat Quickly And Easily

By:

1. Eat less salty foods.
This also means less actual salt in your food, even sea salt, which is the salt of choice. That means sodium, of course. If you are not very active, but you are still using lots of salt in your food, it will cause you to retain water. Additionally, if you eat on the run often or at restaurants, you must be aware that salt is loaded into the cooked food you are being served. Again, the sodium content can cause you to retain fluid, resulting in bloating.
2. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of pure water.
When you are dehydrated, it causes you to retain sodium, resulting in bloat, puffiness, or water weight. Drink lots of purified bottled water, including reverse osmosis, which is available to you. Sure you can drink green teas, even iced green tea in summer, but don't let ANYTHING take the place of pure water. It is truly the only way to detoxify your body on a daily basis. Half your body weight in ounces is a good way to measure the daily requirements.
3. Eat lots of green veggies and fruits.
You'll want to stock up on anti-bloat foods like berries, apples, watermelon, and apricots. Also incorporate things like fennel, peppermint and ginger. Also, dark leafy green lettuce like Romaine also has a high water content and is packed with fiber. You want the fiber and high water content of both of veggies and fruits. Eating foods high in fiber and drinking lots of water will bind and trap toxins and flush them out of your system.
4. Chew Your Food Well and With Your Mouth Closed.
Most people chew their food 7 or 8 times and then swallow. This puts an enormous strain on the liver to work hard to break down the food. When you chew your food well, the saliva produces more enzymes to help break the food down better, and then the liver doesn't have to work so hard, and the digestive system will function much better. Additionally, chew with your mouth closed so you won't swallow as much air when you eat, thus allowing air to get into your stomach, also, contributing to the bloat.
5. Take a good probiotic supplement daily.
This is just a very smart thing to do. Considering all the processed foods, preservatives, chemicals, antibiotics, hormones, and all kinds of other things which we aren't even aware of in our food, it's a type of "insurance" for your gut or digestives system. So many people are plagued with digestive problems, including IBS because they simply do not have enough good bacteria in their intestines. This will put the good bacteria you need back in your system. This one step alone can make such a difference in your life. I personally take a probiotic supplement called "Primal Defense" by Garden of Life and it's the one I recommend. You can purchase it at any Vitamin Shoppe, or check out www.VitaminShoppe.com online today.
