With so many web browsers coming up everyday, Google released its very own Google Browser. This browser has completely laid its foundation on Webkit and includes Google Gears only. This has an extension framework of a browser that permits it to build hybrid applications like that of the Adobe AIR. This browser called Google Chrome, has the JavaScript Virtual Machine or JVM named V8 included in it and had been developed by a team of experts in Denmark. The browser has the multi-threading quality and hence is able to accelerate the level of JavaScript performance. The Chrome comes with auto-completion, tabs, along with a start page that represents the design of a dashboard.

The dashboard designed start page of the Google Browser Chrome is similar to the one that is there with Opera web browser and helps the user to get to a web service through it. The browser comes with the privacy mode; this will allow the user to utilize the computer without having to log the details on local machine. The new version of the Microsoft IE has a feature called Incognito and is quite similar to this option in Chrome. The browser offers quite a safe search indeed, with the anti-malware and anti-phishing technology integrated in the browser. Google said at the time of launching the Chrome that they were looking forward to add some value to the quality of browsing for the users of the internet, along with a mission to drive some degree of innovation in the World Wide Web. The Chrome came with the fastness of Opera and the reliability of Microsofts very own IE.

The Google team, used the Google Browser extensively before releasing it by almost making it their house to live in. they not only did they chat and search and collaborate using the Chrome, they as well did their banking, shopping, staying in contact with their friends, and even read the daily news by using Chrome. Thus the team realized the fact that the online world has developed from being a array of uncomplicated text pages to becoming an array of rich and interactive set of highly sophisticated applications and the concept of a browser requires some serious thinking to make it work. Thus evolved the open source swift Chrome from the house of Google.
