Good People Mess Up Too Reminds Psychic Elizabeth

One of the hardest things to remember is that good people mess up too. We all have had that hero that let us down, dropped a ball or just flat out messed up. We all had to suffer that feeling of disillusionment when it happened. Todays Daily Quote is from one of my very favorite actors, Robert Duvall. He was born on January 5, 1931. He said the following:

We either accept weaknesses in good people or we have to tear pages out of the Bible.

One of the characters I like best from the Bible is King David. He proved that people mess up...over and over and over and over. Every time he asked for forgiveness, it was granted. To me, David is a great example because that is how my life goes. I do great, I mess up, I ask for forgiveness, and I am forgiven. I would venture to say that you do the same.

For today, lets remember that good people mess up. If you have messed up and still need to ask for forgiveness, today is a great day to get that done. When you mess up today, and we all probably will, remind yourself that youre human. King David was the best loved by God of his time. He was a Superhero to the people in his country. People from other countries feared him. Just remind yourself that David messed up. People mess up. You will mess up. Just dont stay in the mess. Do your best to crawl out of if and to clean it up.
If you have someone around you who has messed up, who failed you, who dropped a ball around or who just let you down in some way, remember that good people mess up all the time. Do you have it in your heart to at least consider forgiving this person? If the shoe were on the other foot and you were the one needing forgiveness, would you want to be forgiven? Reach out a forgiving hand and help that person back on the path. It wont kill you. It wont even burn the skin off your hand.

Good people mess up. You mess up. I mess up. People around us mess up. Its a fact. We can hold that grudge forever or we can forgive and move forward. Remember how you treat those around you is how you will be treated. For today, lets forgive, forget and move on.
