This golf tip is one that most people are aware of without recognizing it and will improve your golf game once you recognize that your brain and subconscious are incredibly powerful.
The key to improving your golf game and lower scores comes down to, sooner or later, your short game. Yes, when you start the game of golf initially you will see huge improvements by losing your slice and improving your ball striking.
But sooner or later you will hit a wall..that is a point where your ball striking is pretty good and the amount of improvement you can derive in this area is small. But the key to lowering your scores is your short game, particularly your putting.
So what has the refrigerator got to do with this?
Distance control..many players can hit their putts pretty straight but still 3 putt because of poor distance control. They then try to address this problem but end up getting too mechanical and losing all feel for distance.
Now when you are watching TV and jump up to grab yourself something from your refrigerator, you can do this and close the door instinctively and subconsciously without looking at how you close that refrigerator door. You never slam it shut where you spill the milk on the inside..and you never leave it open.
How much time have you given to the amount of force you need to close that door, whilst watching TV?
None is the answer, yet you can do it without any fuss, and without even looking on many occasions.
Why? Because your brain and your subconscious takes care of it without any huge mechanical analysis.
So it is with your distance putting. Rely on your subconscious, trust your senses and your brain and you will not be disappointed.
This golf tip will allow you to improve your distance putting provided you dont analyze it and get in your own way.
