Go Organic, Go Natural Beauty

What a great way to start the day! You wake up, look yourself in the mirror and say Hey gorgeous! Looking good, mmm mmmm... Self-talk is powerful stuff, especially when you do all you can to support it. So if youre someone that likes to look good, feel good, smell good, sound good... then maybe youre ready for your organic makeover.

You can easily spot health-oriented people, especially the ones you work with. Theyll come into the office revved by their walk to work. Over lunch, theyll spout you are what you eat to you or anyone who wants to listen, as they munch on their soy burger with alpha sprouts and feta cheese. Youll see them drinking copious amounts of water during the day, usually as you reach for your third cup of coffee. And come mid-afternoon, theyll eat healthy snacks for their energy boost. And just before they leave the office, theyll probably wave cheerily to you before they walk home. And dont get me wrong, its great, its energetic, and on a good day, its me.

Not all of these same people, male and female alike and I included, who make alternative food and healthy lifestyle choices, have converted to the organic beauty product lines though. Even myself, a vegetarian for close to 20 years, and a soul who has sensitive skin, the idea of buying organic cosmetics and organic makeup really just hadnt occurred to me. As I rededicate myself to optimal health choices (and rediscover the feel-good effects of broccoli, dark chocolate, salmon with its omega 3, detox tea), I notice I have acquired a new curiosity for natural cosmetics. After all, why take so much care with ones diet and fitness, if you dont pay attention to the products your using on your hair, skin and nails.

This is quite possibly because they havent experienced the afterglow effect of using the right organic beauty products; Afterglow Cosmetics (http://afterglowcosmetics.com/) endorse the motto: Organic whenever possible. Their product lines are designed with the person with sensitive skin in mind. A good rule of thumb is to know what youre putting on your skin, and what youre choosing not to. Mineral cosmetics on the market today are heavily loaded with dyes, fillers and synthetic. Afterglow products are bismuth oxychloride-free and paraben-free, and gluten-free. Start by leaving out ingredients, like bismuth oxychloride, known for its glowy look, and for its itch-appeal. Add in age-defying antioxidants like organic grape seed and pomegranate extract. And ensure all ingredients are pharmaceutical grade minerals and pigments and certified organic botanicals.

Have some fun, and treat yourself to an Afterglow Starter Kit, such as the Light Glow Kit, and give yourself an organic makeover.
The idea is to give yourself a real afterglow feel and feel phenomenal. To get the full effect, you want to make your face up the way you normally would with your regular make-up, and then feel the difference. (Note: This particular kit includes: 2 Organic Mineral Foundations (Ivory, Bisque), 1 Organic Mineral Blush (Smitten), 1 Organic Setting Powder (Translucent), 1 Baby Kabuki Brush, 1 Concealer Brush, 1 Afterglow Cosmetic Bag).

You can start your mornings with an Afterglow feel. Its an organic choice.

Afterglow Cosmetics is woman owned and woman formulated.
