Females out there, you can probably relate to this. You put on your make-up in the morning, get to work, feeling reasonably chirpy and cheery and then, wham! At some in the afternoon you look in the mirror and see you had been just a little heavy-handed on the foundation, and you look like youve just come back from some sun-kissed vacation or trip to the ski slopes but that your new tan is definitely not even, and not particularly inspired.
Im a make-up adverse person. Some people are probably born with an eye-lash curler in their fist, but I certainly wasnt. And the foundation story, well thats me. And its not that I dont try, its just I dont have the knack or flair for it.
More recently, especially with a growing awareness of the aging effect, Im determined, once again to look my very best, and if this means tackling the foundation, Im ready. It makes a lot of sense really. Im an attractive person, I walk a lot to keep fit, and I try eating healthy.
My latest discovery is that I can convert to organic beauty product lines. This is ideal, especially if I dont master the heavy-handed make-up dilemma Im facing. Ive definitely looked at the beauty products in the health food stores before, but often felt that Id end up buying something made of beeswax or flax seed oil. Whats the expression, too alternative?
I found one product-line that grabs my attention, and make me want to restock my cosmetics, and one of them is Afterglow Cosmetics (http://afterglowcosmetics.com/). Afterglow Cosmetics speaks to me because thats what Im looking for. The glow of good health choices. It sounds sexy. I want that and the oh-so-smooth feel of skin thats been pampered and nourished just right.
I have simple tastes, in terms of my make-up. A little foundation to hide the freckles and smooth out my skin colour and tone, a hint of eyeliner and some black mascara to add length to my eyelashes, and my favourite deep-red lipstick.
Afterglows
organic foundation sound delightfully exotic and beckon with names like Porcelain, Sunset, Shell and Dusty Rose. But its actually only when you view their range of granular-looking foundations (http://store.afterglowcosmetics.com/s.nl?sc=2&category=&search=foundation), which look like theyll apply on as lightly as dust, that you have a real feel for what Afterglow is really about.
I remember a French friend of mine was once offered blush with different beads of colour by her husband. It was obvious that she was smitten that her husband of so many years had taken the time and care to shop for cosmetics for her because she kept taking out her blush and admiring it, and applying it with great care. The beads looked liked theyd explode with colour her face. Afterglow creates this same impression. Each granular lump of foundation looks soaked with good things for the skin.
Afterglow Foundations are organic or
mineral foundation and they endorse Afterglows motto: Organic whenever possible. They are free bismuth oxychloride-free and paraben-free, and gluten-free. All ingredients are pharmaceutical grade minerals and pigments and certified organic botanicals.
