If you havent heard the term "glamping" before, then you likely havent taken a "staycation" before.

Glamping stands for * glamorous camping * and is one of the fastest growing vacation trends.

Most people think of traditional camping with an smelly, green canvas tent, and cooking hot dogs and beans over a smokey fire.

Todays modern camping offers all the comforts of home and then some, including many luxury amenities.

Paws Up in western Montana, is leading the glamping way. The Resort at Paws Up opened in 2005 and brings together luxury with unforgettable adventure on 37,000 acres of untamed Montana wilderness steeped in the rich history of Lewis and Clark.

The Resort at Paws Up offers accommodations for 150 guests in 28 well-appointed vacation homes, ranging from two-bedroom Meadow Homes to the charming, private four-bedroom Morris Farmhouse and brand new Wilderness Estates.

Paws Up is located in the heart of the Blackfoot Valley in beautiful, western Montana.

Back in 2005, Paws Up began to serve "nature on a silver platter" with the introduction of Tent City. Then in 2008, River Camp provided guests the Blackfoot in their bedroom. Coming this July 2010, Paws Up unveils the opening of Creekside Camp, the third and largest luxury tented accommodation.

Located along Elk Creek, Creekside Camp will offer six-new tented suites unlike any "glamping" accommodations guests have seen before.

Four of the accommodations will be 530-square foot tent suites for a family of four with attached private kids quarters. The safari-style accommodations are outfitted with electricity, feather beds, western chic furniture, and private decks, plus their own personal "camping butler."

Creekside Camp at Paws Up will soon be the perfect answer for families who want to experience activities and adventure together. Paws Up offers one of the largest menus of wilderness activities in all of North America, including horseback riding and mountain biking to sporting clays and ATV adventures.

Rates at Creekside Camp will start at $1,015 per night for the two-bedroom tented suites and $925 per night for the one-bedroom tented suites, double occupancy.

Rates include three-meals daily (children three and under eat for free) and airport transfers from Missoula (MSO).
