Other types of medications can also prove to be very difficult to give to your dog. Take for example eye medications. In these cases you must hold your dog still so that you can give your dog their medication. And at the same time it is also vital for you not to stretch the eye of your dog.

If your dog as to get medicine in a fluid form, you can either pour it onto the food of your dog, or by using a syringe or dropper and force it down the throat of your dog. As you can see from the above, topical medications are the easiest to give to your dog. The only thing that you would have to look out for though is that your dog does not lick them off. In most cases these medicines have to be kept on for a certain amount of time in order to treat the affected area effectively.
