Ghosts Of The Old South

Lot of people believe that old forts and plantations are haunted because they have seen and heard some weird things going on inside them. They see light, voices, things moving, and hear sounds. They even see the ghosts and I, for one, believe them. At Loretta Lynn in Tennessee, there have been many sightings of ghosts because it is haunted. The ghosts of the people that had lived there in the past haunt it. There are things going on in there, and people see it happen, too. People see sightings of the men and the women in the house and in the cemetery. They say that the woman is always looking for her baby that had died at birth or while the baby was still very young. The man has been seen in the house as well. They say he watches over the pictures and the albums on the walls and of course the house. If someone touches them he will get mad and he has been know to push them a little bit. Did you know that there is a dungeon under the house where they took the slaves?

There are other plantations that can be haunted. There have been sightings of them all over the world. People claim that these spirits have been moved things off the shelves, cause sounds by walking up the stairs, turn the lights on and off, cause people to feel cool air in one part of the house or even a room, and touch people. They get people to find out what they are or what is going on.

We don't know if they are mean or nice ghosts but lot of people believe that they are there and that they are there for a reason. In other plantations, ghosts of the people that worked in there or that were stationed in them haunt them. These forts are really old, and they are a part of history. Some of them are not allowed to be torn down because they are landmarks. Lots of people have seen very strange things going on in there. They see lights and hear voices. They see lights from the windows or the holes in the walls. Lots of people will not go near there because it scares them. But other people want to see a glimpse of the ghosts or feel them because they want to establish contact with the ghosts.
