Getting Traffic To Your Website!

As I have already stated there are a myriad of free advertising opportunities online for you to take advantage of. These include the following (not in any order of importance as I believe it takes a well rounded approach to market your site effectively).

1-Articles (Then distributed through article distribution software)

2-Videos (Distribute through video submission sites)

3-Blogging (I use 3-4 different log sites and then post them on a blog directory)

4-Free Business Directories (Written ad form and video form)

5-Social Networking (On these I just put general info and stuff I am up to and also join in on groups with a similar interest or in forums with a topic I can relate my business to).

6-SEO strategies (study and learn about using keywords and in turn get your site ranking high in the organic search engines).

With all of these forms of free advertising I go into greater detail on each point, in articles that are available on my blog page. Now to get on to the second part of my advertising plan, paid advertising. Once you have all your free forms up and running it is time to double your advertising efforts and put in the same amount of hard work into your paid forms as you have done with your free ones. Some paid methods that I use are;

1-Google Ad words

2-Yahoo Pay Per Click

Both Yahoo and Google offer similar services but cost is vastly different. When you consider that Google has 80 per cent of the search engine market, then you can see why the expense can be greater. Once again I go into great detail about Google Adwords in articles on my blogpage. Very important to master this form of paid advertising if you want success online.

3-Paid Banner Advertising (This involves placing a banner relating to your website on another popular site which you pay money to in return for clicks on that banner).

4-Newspaper ads (Both online and traditional forms)

5-Brochures, Pamphlets and Business Cards

6-Email distributors (Blast out 20000 emails every two days with target driven emails).
