Getting The Right Photo Frame

If you need to find a frame for your photos or a painting then you need to answer a few questions first. You need to be very clear about what you want because there are a lot to choose from. Is it something small you are after or do you want something larger like size A2 or A3 frames?

Before you decide think about what the photo means for you. How important is it? Do you want everybody to see it? For an important event like a wedding then I would suggest using a large frame. That is not to say that smaller frames aren't important.

Where you are going to put the photo will influence the size of the frame. If you are having it in your front room then think about large A3 frames. If it is going in your bathroom then you want something less imposing.

These days, people have started to use digital frames. I have to say that personally I like the physical frames but digital frames do have their uses. All you need to do with the digital frames is put your memory card in and the pictures will be available to you.

The bit that I love about these digital frames is that you can present a slide show of you pictures. Sometimes I get distracted from the television and just watch my photos going around!

The disadvantage of these types of frames is that they use quite a bit of electricity and can be quite expensive to run. You also can't get really large ones so if you if you did want to get a large photo in your front room then you will need to look at A3 frames.

Whatever you choose with regards to your frames make sure that you do display them. There are too many photos these days stuck on people's memory cards and computers. You should let this happen to yours. Display them with pride!
