Getting The Best Out Of Printed Charity Running Vests

By:

Here we give some thought to the key considerations with regard to selection of graphics, colours and sizes of prints when selecting running shirts for personalisation, and choosing how to get them printed. The following key points will get you half way there:

Think first about your deadline. Do you need next day delivery? If so, shame on you for leaving it so late! Just kidding, but unfortunately from a practical point of view it is going to limit your choice somewhat. More usually, if you have a gang running a marathon, half marathon, 10k or fun run on behalf of a good cause, we would certainly suggest giving yourself a couple of weeks lead time, particularly if you have a fairly large group all needing charity running tops with the logo printed on them. You will be depending upon a printing company having regular production runs, but you should normally be able to get printed running vests ready for dispatch 2 days after you have ordered them.

Secondly, think about the sizes of running tops or vests you are going to need. Various options are available, but you should be able to find a good printable guide to the sizes and colours available. Why not circulate it to your charity runners or running club members and allow everyone to select the size of vest or top which suits them.

You might also want to think about the colour. Although running vests come in a great range of colours, of which my personal favourite is orange, the most popular colours are still white and black, for the simple reason that nothing clashes with them! Need a charity running vest with a bright pink logo? Might I suggest leaving the red vests well alone. Most suppliers will happily send you a detailed list of the running vest brands and the colours each will come in. The range is now so comprehensive that you will almost certainly find a colour to complement your club or charity colours.

There is also the logo to consider when printing the tops or vests, and you should always be sure to ask for the highest resolution available when getting hold of the logo from your chosen charity or sponsor. If the image is too low resolution, it will be blurred and pixelated when we print it, and I hate to send out second rate running tops! That said, we will usually be able to advise before printing if the graphics are not quite up to scratch.

If you follow these steps you should be pretty certain of getting the right kind of result from your charity running vests, but feel free to visit us if you need more information at Imprint51 Personalised Printed Running Vests
