Get Your Mind Out Of The Gutter

Do you find yourself constantly saying things to yourself like, Ill never make it; Its just too hard; What will they think of me; Theyll probably think Im crazy; Why should I even try - it wont work anyway; Why wont anyone help me? If you utter even some of these things to yourself regularly, you are destroying your business from the inside out (not to mention your own self-esteem and confidence too).

What you focus on expands, so if youre constantly telling yourself youre worthless or not good enough in many different ways, guess what?...youll feel even more worthless and even less than. Brides will stop calling, vendors will back off from you, and youll feel all alone. Essentially, you just created this reality for yourself, maybe without even knowing it.

This is what people call the Law of Attraction. Its our own self-fulfilling prophecy...literally, mind over matter. Our thoughts are extremely powerful, and the emotion behind the thoughts is even more powerful. So, be conscious of what youre telling yourself. As Dr. Wayne Dyer says, your thoughts create your reality, whether you like it or not (or whether you believe it or not), so why not choose the good ones?

If you find yourself saying these damaging statements to yourself often (or even sometimes), bring your awareness to it. And then change your thought. Its just as simple as that. (Not necessarily easy, but it is simple.) Start changing these negative, self-destructive thoughts into positive, self-affirming and equally powerful thoughts that lift you up instead of those that bring you down.
In a world where we spend so much time concentrating on looking good and putting on a fake smile, while feeling horrible and disempowered inside, wishing we lived a life we truly loved, stop and refocus your priorities now. You always have a choice.

Instead of trying so hard to look good, lets focus on feeling good, consciously creating the dreams we desire to be our reality, and watch as the miracles truly unfold before your very eyes. This is one of those small hinges that opens incredibly large doors (just like it has in my life and in countless others)!
