Essential fatty acids are necessary for the brain to function at its best. Therefore, it is vital that an ADHD diet must include these nutrients. As with vitamins, our bodies cannot manufacture them from other substances. There exists two main types of essential fats, namely omega 3 and omega 6. Most people have sufficient amount of omega 6 but not omega 3. One of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids is seafood.
