I remember 15 years ago, I was living in a little trailer. It was really small, but it was so cool because, you know, it was mine. I didn't make more than about $10 an hour till I was in my mid-twenties, but that was the first place I ever owned and I loved it.
Well, I remember walking around inside that little trailer with my little SONY WalkMan on. I was playing some self-help tapes. It was an instructional audio course called Personal Power by Tony Robbins, the personal development master.
Youve really got to picture this to get the full impact of what I am about to tell you. Imagine me there, in my tiny trailer, headphones plugged into my ears, strutting around in circles and listening to advice from Tony Robbins. I was holding my shoulders up, pushing them toward my ears, acting like I was wearing a cape to build my self confidence. Can you see me there?
Right. Now flash forward to earlier this year. Im standing on the balcony of my ocean-view apartment with a cell phone next to my ear. On the other end of the line, whos talking to me? Its Tony Robbins himself, asking me if Id be willing to come and help him as a guest speaker at his Business Mastery Seminar in Las Vegas. Hes inviting me to come speak on his stage!
I ask you, How cool is that? It was amazing! I admit, I like the financial rewards of information marketing, but this was the best. I felt I had reached a point of real life achievement when Tony Robbins called me.
So today I am telling you what you can only just begin to imagine. Your life can go through incredible changes if you embrace the opportunities presented, right now, by information marketing. The rewards are limitless.
If someone had told me 15 years ago, Tony Robbins is going to call and ask for your help doing a seminar, I would have laughed him right out of my trailer and locked the door. But it happened. And great things can happen for you.
Another thing I couldnt possibly have known back then was just how huge my business would become. I started out by going it alone, just me and a computer in my bedroom. It was quite a while before I hired my first helper.
Fittingly, I think, I found a virtual assistant. I found her through Elance.com, and she still works for my company till this very day.
So I kept on doing more info marketing and building the organization as sales grew. Before long, my combined information marketing efforts were bringing in five figures, then six figures, then seven figures a month.
This year alone, Ill probably do more than $25 million in sales, and I still work from home. I still dont have a central office, and I dont see any reason why we would ever have one. I've got over 80 employees, and our operations are 100% virtual. Im free to work from wherever I may be.
So, I know its possible. I know what can happen. Thats why I really recommend that you not be afraid of doing something in the Internet marketing world. Start an online business. Come up with ways to make money online. Find a niche and start creating information products for it.
You can set up your information marketing business anywhere you like. Do it at home from the kitchen table. Do it after work in your office. Do it from a hotel room while you are traveling.
But the main thing is, as Nike keeps on telling us, Just do it! Huge rewards will soon follow, wherever you go.
