After incorporating the Gestetner 3222 into your office hardware, youll find yourself faxing, printing, and copying in ways that were impossible with compact multifunctional units. With true network connectivity that can incorporate an entire office into the devices array of powerful features, this old work horse will easily pay for itself in almost no time at all due to the low overhead of refurbished units and limited operating cost.

Operating at 22 pages per minute, the Gestetner 3222 makes short work of large projects, and, if the greatest possible speed is a must have, the copy machines sister unit, the Gestetner 3227, is available with the exact same features accompanied by a 27 page output speed thanks to upgraded hardware. Either way, time to first print speed will not be long thanks to a cleverly engineered paper path that brings first print speed to an incredibly low 4.9 seconds, though, from complete power off mode, warm up time runs at a full 45 seconds.

Supporting a variety of paper types, ranging from envelopes all the way up to oversized 11 x 17 inch sheets, users are not limited to letter and legal sizes alone. Paper handling itself comes in the form of two standard 500 sheet capacity trays, and two expandability options: a single 2,000 sheet large capacity tray, or two more additional 500 sheet paper banks. Due to space limitations, the additions are mutually exclusive and therefore can not be use simultaneously, however, a 100 sheet optional multi purpose tray brings the Gestetner 3222s potential paper capacity to a grand total of 3.100 sheets, which should serve as more than enough regardless of output demands.

Output capacity is locked at 500 sheets total via an internal tray, so extremely high volume jobs will require some user management. An optional duplex printing hardware addition can also be incorporated for double sided printing of not only standard sizes, but double sided prints of up to 11 x 17 inches. The duplexor is stackless, meaning that virtually unlimited duplex prints can be made in a row, drastically reducing paper usage. Also optional is a 1.6 GB hard disk that allows users to store frequently needed data permanently within the machine for instant access at any time.

An optional finisher is good for 1,000 sheets and has a staple capacity of 50 sheets. Faxing options are powerful as well, offering a 33.6 Kbps ITU V.34 fax modem and optional JBIG compression to help keep incoming and outgoing transmissions moving along at a speedy 3 seconds per page. The Gestetner 3222 even allows the expansion option of an additional 33.6 Kbps ITU modem for two line, independent fax functions. Faxes can then be sent and received two at a time, and even be sent on one line while the other line is receiving. This option does, however, require an additional phone line.

Along with rapid print speeds and almost limitless hardware expandability, theres almost no task that the Gestetner 3222 isnt up to, regardless of your office of any sizes work load.
