If you are a total beginner and know nothing about marketing and never heard of affiliates, then you need to, I know this is obvious, you need to begin at the very beginning. You need to find a step by step training program to guide you through techniques to build a web site find a good profitable niche and market your chosen product. There you have it, your own affiliate marketing business
producing second incomes for years to come. Affiliate Marketing, by the way, is when an affiliate promotes other peoples products through their web site.

Actually its not quite that simple. Second incomes are not just lying around waiting to be picked up. There is a process to go through to get off the ground or should I say on the net. There are many sites offering training and guidance, most will ask you to join and become a member of their training program. This will cost you a monthly fee. Many of these sites offer a very good service, some do not. You will have to research and find one that suits you. However as a total beginner I would suggest that you find a free training program until you are more aware of your surroundings on the internet.

A good program will show you that you need something to sell, preferably a product that you are familiar with or an area that interests you. It should also be a profitable niche as well as an interesting one. You will need to be focused, patient and interested in your business. Focus on why you need a second income this should encourage you as you will need to promote your own web site, more information on this topic later.

You will then be guided to obtaining a Domain name, this will be related to your niche your area of interest. This will be your web site name with a .com, .net or biz. Now you are on your way. Next you will be shown how to build a web site, this can be terrifying for a beginner but do not be put off by this. Building a web site is an ongoing project. You build a basic site to get you online then you can go back to your site as often as you like for years to come to make it better.

Hosting comes next you are going to need a hosting for your site. There are electronic problems with keeping web sites on the internet. A hosting site will overcome these problems. But I have to say this is one item that you will have to pay for. It's not a big expense and you can choose a site that suits you. Now you are really up and running. You are almost an affiliate marketer.
