All together, we see Cooper was born on a hot sunny day with a relaxed BBQ. Well, you know the saying watch what you want. It proved to be the hottest day of the year (Sunday May 23). All along I thought MW, Cooper was born during the day, as I like my sleep too. No night work for me ;)
The week before I had a feeling that Sunday would be the day. I had irregular elevations on Saturday morning and went to Tesco to get barbecued hamburgers for lunch. When I went to Tesco the lines were ridiculous - everyone was on the grill too! I had a few pieces and then went home - thankfully, the lines have disappeared when I went to check.
We just chilled in the afternoon and then went to our brother in laws house for another BBQ Sat night We had more than a few barbecue and evicted all ... no increases or austerity in about two hours. But once we got in the car to leave things at home.
I went to bed - I put the CD and stayed until midnight in the surge. I could not sleep then put in Sex in New York and thought I could sleep. I could not go back to sleep around 2 so I was not more comfortable in bed. I looked up and reruns of Frasier just sitting on the ball. I wanted to go to Philip and Jack to rest. Around 4:00 was out bright and things began to improve so I woke up to Philip begins to fill my swimming pool. Pool was heaven. I could just relax and float.... The flood was a 7 minutes for the most pressure - seemed to focus on the sensations around my hips and my leg was waiting for me. Jack was up around 8 am, and we do go out with her friends house days.
Jack left and things ramped every 5 minutes, I asked DH to call my midwife and doula. I thought things have progressed quickly and I had a lot of the birth of the show. Marguerite my doula and my MW and Colette arrived around 09:30. Cooper was well and was asleep in the pool between the flood. My midwife gave me to look about 10 and I was 5cm. I was pleased - I thought seriously about having a baby in the afternoon - just in time for BBQ! Midwife raised gas and air, and it was good to keep my breathing slow especially on top of the flood.
By 3:00 p.m. I began to wonder what the delay was ... .. I had a banana and some bread sticks and drank sports drinks thought to myself that Coopers BBQ will begin very soon. I was 7cm and Cooper were down well - his heart was perfect all the time. Things began to heat up - time wise and with the sensations ... Cooper was later, so I went to the pool and spent some time in the garden with my Doula-cons put on my back. I knew that Cooper turns into a good position if I kept moving. Outbreaks are now every three minutes and very intense. I really concentrate on every shot of a wave at a time. I even convinced that each wave is the last - ever. I had to stay in the moment. We spent some time in the kitchen .... Dining room and eventually found myself in the quiet, dark pool "cool" room. DH has taken a lot of video and that everyone was well fed.
