The Population have been using the disposable baby diapers since the 1960's, with the invention becoming popular by the manufacturers of Pampers. Having a very helpful and simple product to use was a cause of celebration and relief for most families. No longer did they have to use cloth, washing them and drying them, or sending them out to a cleaning service. One drawback to the ease of use provided by disposable baby diapers has been the impact on the Earth.

The environment pays a hefty price by the use of disposable baby diapers. Studies have shown that 18-20 million disposable baby diapers are used annually and that they account for over thirty percent of all landfill waste. Astonishingly, disposable baby diapers rank number three as a contributor to landfills.

Consumer awareness of the environmental impact of disposable baby diapers has made a lot of parents return to the old fashioned cloth diaper. While the intent is a very good one, parents soon discovered the hours it takes to launder them, coupled with the fact that they are already tired from the other parenting tasks. The good news is that there is now a disposable diaper that is flushable and is a benefit to the environment.

They are called gDiapers. The gDiapers consist of a plastic free flushable refill that consists of biodegradable tree farm fluff pulp material and a super absorber, and an organic cotton outerpant that is washable, reusable, and available in a wide range of colors for either a boy or girl. It is available in colors such as lavender, green, blue, and pink. They are designed for use by either gender, which also makes it a very versatile diaper.

The gDiapers are a great benefit to the environment. If everyone was to switch to this brand, just think about how much waste would be saved from our landfills. We are leaving enough of a footprint already. Making the switch to these will leave a better future for your precious little one you are buying them for.
