Funny, Nonsensical, And Weird Laws From Across The United States Of America

Lets face it: some laws on the books just make no sense. Im not talking about major laws that are disputed by legislators and legal experts but those smaller laws which everyone considers silly and funny. Below Ive taken a look at some of these silly little laws from across the country. While these laws may not be enforced, it may be best to be safe than sorry.

In the State of Texas, you should note that it is illegal to sell your own eye. In addition, be sure to keep your hands off your neighbor's cow's udders as it is against the law to milk someone else's cow. A bit of a history note, Texas once banned the Encyclopedia Britannica because it contains a formula that may allow people to brew their own beer at home.

In the State of California, women are not allowed to drive while wearing a housecoat. On the note of driving, a vehicle without a driver may not exceed 60 miles per hour. In an attempt to keep posers out, people are not allowed to wear cowboy boots unless they actually own at least two cows.

The State of Colorado does not allow liquor to be sold on Sundays or election days. Two rock laws to note: you cannot mutilate any rock at a Colorado state park, and in Boulder, you may not roll boulders on city property.

In the State of New York, you should be careful in bars as you can be issued a $25 fine for flirting. In addition, women can go topless out in public so long as they aren't doing so for business purposes. The penalty for jumping off a building in New York is death.

In Florida, a husband is not permitted to kiss his wife's breasts. While in public wearing a swimsuit, you must know that you are not allowed to sing in public. And finally, stay awake at the hair salon because you and the owner can be fined for falling asleep under the hair dryer.
