The Funky Buddha Lounge is part of Brightons iconic seafront night scene. Particularly popular with students immersing themselves in one of the best nightlife scenes in the country, Funky Buddha is a world away from the mass market clubs that pepper the rest of the beach.

Funky Buddha Brighton offers great tunes and good times in a highly stylised setting. Taking the shape of two giant interlinked tubes with two bars, it plays host to a wide variety of music types, making it popular with indie kids as much as pop-pickers depending on the night of the week.

Brightons nightclub scene is a rich tapestry of different styles of both music and character. Funky Buddha takes pride of place as one of the best clubs along the seafront, which is dominated by the bigger clubs that focus more on pulling in as large crowds as possible, no matter what the cost.

What Funky Buddha offers is something a little bit different, something with a bit more atmosphere and a bit more character; something that appeals to the more discerning club goer after more than just the latest chart hits and a bump n grind on the dancefloor.

Having said that, the primary audience for Funky Buddha is probably students. The former home of the legendary Stompa Phunk night (which makes a reappearance for New Years Eve), Funky Buddha is steeped in history that gives it solid credentials amongst the discerning Brightonian music lover as much as the casual club goer.

Naturally, being a seafront club, it also has the same advantages as the other Kings Road Arches clubs of spitting out its clientele onto the beach at the end of a heavy night, something which softens the blow of having to go home.

Appealing as much to die-hard beat fiends with a mixture of dance oriented nights as to people looking for a night out in somewhere that feels a little different, Funky Buddha Brighton is set in the hearts of many of Brightons residents as one of the premier clubs in the area.
