There are many things to do Chicago, most wonder why it is called the "Windy city", well it's because the wind blows, a lot. I found a few things to do Chicago even with the wind blowing.Wander around Millennium Park,it's located in the city with lots of foliage and attractions that make this a place to see. It is 24.5 of lush acres located in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. It's like an outdoor museum with art, space to relax, fabulous architecture and great food. One favorite is the Crown Fountain with two towers made of glass and granite it is a place where children and adults splash around. There is also a big stainless steal structure known as Cloud Gate that reflects the gorgeous skyline, the trees and people who are just lying around.

Along with the skyline is some of the best beef in America. things to do Chicago include food, go to David Burke's Primehouse it's not cheap, but it is one of the best steaks around. There is also the National Park close by which would be a great day trip, and the Navy Pier are also among the things to do Chicago.

Chicago Illinois also has many and kid friendly hotels and the family fun center. Don't forget the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Odyssey fun World, with all this fun and a great price who could ask for anything more.

Lunch at the Loop and shopping the Magnificent Mile are more fun things to do Chicago.The Loop is the most lively by day and is located by the city's central business district. Lunches included Patty Melts, Burger Fresco at Macy's, along with excellent Mexican food.

The Magnificent Mile is a section of Michigan Avenue located between the Chicago River and Water Tower Place. It has department stores and is a shop-aholic's dream including: Gap, Banana Republic, French Connection, Old Navy, Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. Don't forget to attend a Cubs game at Wrigley Field these are just a few of the things to do Chicago.

If you go take an architecture tour and view the skyscraper, which originated in Chicago. The Architecture Foundation of Chicago has excellent tours, including boat tours and neighborhood walking tours. The Historic Skyscraper tour introduces the beautiful architecture and is a useful way to make sure you know where things are. Taking a walk along the lakefront is one of the things to do Chicago.

Chicago is located on Lake Michigan, which is almost as big as the sea. It also houses a restaurant with a wine bar and some pool tables, but if bowling isn't your thing--Chicago has plenty more to offer. Make sure you have a Chicago card and look for the city with the attractions that make you smile and you'll find Chicago.
