Fun Clothes For Kids Make Playtime Better

By:

As a parent I have seen a lot of clothes being ripped up by the play that my kids enjoy. Often crawling around the house on their hands and knees the pants and shirts that are worn by younger children tend to wear our before my kids have outgrown them. It seems like some clothes are just not designed for the rough and tumble nature of children. While there is an outdated philosophy that children should be seen and not heard, most kids are unable to sit still and keep their clothes clean or rip free. Worn out knees and elbows as well as frayed pant legs show how much a child enjoys their playtime. After watching 5 kids grow up and move onto to Kindergarten I have learned that quality fabrics are an investment that is well worth the money when it comes to finding simple kids clothing that can stand up to anything infants and toddlers can dish out.

Although my oldest is 16 now and is outgrowing his clothes faster than we can replace them the younger kids still manage to find new ways to stain what they are wearing with mud and grass. By purchasing custom children's clothing that are built to take a beating we have been able to pass down the items that the older kids have grown out of and have save money on the clothing budget by ensuring that what we purchase will last through more than one child's rough and tumble approach to life. For our crew of boys and girls we have been able to store the outfits that have been outgrown and pass them on to a younger sibling once they are ready to fit into something more comfortable.

At school the children each have a uniform set of clothes that they need to dress in but when they come home I insist that they change into fun clothes. For kids that are always down on the floor playing games and chasing around the house the casual clothing choices that we purchase have to last as long as the active child can. Taking care to wash each set of colors and fabrics at the correct temperature we have learned from the first two children that buying clothes which are made of strong fibers is well worth it. Although not every article of clothing can be passed from a boy to a girl to another boy there are tee shirts and jeans that can be worn for a couple of years before being passed on by someone that has grown an inch or two.
