At some point in their life, almost every single guy will have a female friend that they want to be something more than just a friend. Meaning, they want her to be more of a girlfriend than just a 'friend.' If you are stuck feeling like there is a woman in your life that you want to be more than just your friend, keep reading. There is some hope for you, as long as you are willing to make a few changes.

The one thing that you should know off the bat is, when you are in the friend zone with a woman, it's partly due to your actions. And if you can change those actions that got you there, then you can get yourself out of the friend zone.

Here are a few tips to make your female friend become your girlfriend instead:

1. She is always going to see you as just a friend if you are always doing favors for her.

This is a common trap that guys will get into when they like a woman. They will immediately start doing favors for her to show her that they like her, only in her eyes, it seems like more of what a friend would do. And, if she likes having a friend like that in her life, then she is not going to want to lose him. So, she will keep that guy as just a friend so that there is no chance that they will break up. Because, well, friends don't really break up, do they?

2. She will want to be more than just a friend when there is a LOT of sexual tension between you and her.

Sexual tension is that heat, that energy that needs to be there if the situation is going to change for you. The problem that most guys have is, they misinterpret the presence of sexual tension being there. Meaning, they think it's there when in the woman's eyes, it's not there at all. You need to be able to create REAL sexual tension with her, the kind that she sees and feels if you want to be more than just friends with her.

3. Until you are ready to get rejected by her, then it's not going to happen.

At some point, you have to jump in and see if something real is ever going to happen between you and her and that means that you need to face the reality that you may get rejected or not. Rejection sucks, but that is something that will eventually become a reality if you are going to cross the line between being friends and lovers.
