Free Traffic - At What Cost?

I would like a dollar for every website I have looked at that said they could give me Free Traffic. There always seems to be a line of fine print somewhere on the page that says that this free traffic is going to cost me something somewhere along the line.

If you think about it, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that free should actually mean free! I think some of these website have lost the plot somewhere, either that or they are just in it for the money ( funny about that). But I have found ,eventually, that there is such a thing as free traffic that lives up to the definition.

They are right in one sense, that the free traffic is going to cost you something along the way, but its not money I'm talking about here. It's something far more valuable than your money and that is your time. So lets forget about spending any more money for the time being and see how we can get free traffic using just your time and your resources at hand.

I'm going to talk about that eight letter word 'articles', yes, you have probably heard how writing articles can help you generate free traffic over and over again,am I right? Well, the reason you keep hearing about it is because it actually works 'over and over again'.

In fact , according to all of my actual real life statistics, out of every 100 times an article is viewed by someone, then 10 out of those 100 will actually go and visit your website. Out of those 10 people that visit your website, about 2 of them will buy what you are offering. These are statistics that you can set your watch by.

But its all too hard to write articles isn't it? Wrong! That's what I thought too, believe it or not. Writing articles is the easiest thing in the world to do. If you have ever had a conversation with anybody in your entire life (and I'm guessing you have), then you can write an article. All an article is is a conversation you have had (either with yourself or with a friend) and put down on paper. An article can be as short as 250 words or as long as 100 words. This article is about 450 words and took me 15 minutes to write.

What you have got to tell people about your particular subject is important! After all, no one is going to explain it to people just like you could and there are people out there waiting to hear from someone who can help them. Free traffic may cost you a small amount of your time, but its worth it.
