Many married men are caught cheating on their wives because they fail to be honest to themselves when they've decided to have an affair. Whatever your motivations may be for cheating on your wife, you have to be completely honest to your self. Otherwise, you'll be burdened by guilt and you will be caught by your wife.

Cheating on your wife has very serious consequences. Once you are caught, no way will your wife ever trust you again. She would be hurt and might decide to get a divorce. You'd be lucky if she forgives you. And if she does, she'll surely ask for conditions you'll have difficulty to accept. The worst part- your kids. Your kids will be affected by your infidelity. That's the reason why if you decide to have extramarital affairs, you have to make sure you are not caught.

Keeping your affair a secret from your wife, necessitates a huge amount of hard work. This is because you will be hiding a lot of things from your wife and most of the times you will have to lie even to her face.

1. Your expenses

Hiding your finances may become a sizable challenge. Whether you like it or not, you will have to shed some cash in order to meet your other woman. A hotel room or a dinner is sometimes incurred when you go out. But remember, you can't afford to carelessly leave the receipts in your pocket where your wife can find them when you go home. Also, you can't use your credit cards because your wife might be able to see the billing statements or might notice "questionable" purchases. Where are you going to get the money then? You can use debit cards instead because unlike credit cards, there won't be any statements sent to your house every month. Little by little, you put money into that debit card of yours. You can't just set aside huge amounts of money from your paycheck because your wife will only get suspicious.

2. Your computer communications

The computer is a wonderful invention. It makes people's lives generally easier. It reliably and efficiently records communications from one user to another. It is for this very reason that you have to be careful with the sites you visit and emails you send using your PC. If you are not careful enough, your wife might see very incriminating files stored in your PC and will become suspicious of you. To avoid this, make sure that you erase the history of your internet browser whenever you shut down your computer. Also, your email account should be password-protected at all times.

3. Your phone calls

It's very risky to use your cell phone to call your other woman because you might forget to erase the call log of your phone. Even if you think your wife respects your privacy there is no way she won't browse your phone whenever you're asleep. Also, what if your other woman calls you when you're at home with your family, it would be difficult not to take the call right? My suggestion is that you should use another phone (strictly for extramarital purposes) and hide it where your wife won't be able to find it. When you're not using that phone turn it off, so no one will be able to call it.

4. Your dating clothes

You need to be wary of your clothes when you go home. You can't let any mark of your affair to remain on your shirt or suit where your wife might discover them. Anything from lipstick to eye-shadow can be a potential danger. However if you had a drink, you might have difficulty making sure you are free from those marks. It's advisable to have an overnight bag in handy with you, so you can take a shower and change into new clothes. So what will happen with the clothes you just took off? Of course, don't bring them home. Have them dry cleaned elsewhere. And when you get them back, pay in cash (no receipts).

Having an affair could be really exciting and fun. However, you can't have fun forever if you don't take care of yourself. The fact is you need to plan everything and your moves must be calculated in order to avoid being discovered. If you think you can't do it, then by all means don't try to cheat on your wife. Having extramarital affairs is not for the faint of heart. Therefore, be honest with yourself because only you can say if you can do it or not.
