Many internet marketers have the same problem. They read every little tidbit of information and try to absorb any tips or tricks that they come across in order to solve this problem. They spend hours of time, and sometimes large amounts of money to test products, but still end up with the same problem. That problem is advertising effectively. After much research on my own, and much money in the process, I have found that the fastest way to market your product or service and yourself is to do it simultaneously. The first thing you will need to do is to go to Board Tracker. com and enter the keywords for the forum that you are focusing on. You can also do this by going to google and typing in the keyword + forum. For example if I was marketing small business advertising, I would go to google and enter "small business advertising + forum" and then look down the list to see which forums I may be interested in signing up for. You could chose a few, but I recommend that you chose as many as you can.

Next, you go to each forum and register to be a member. The registration process only takes a few minutes. Most forums will send you an email to confirm that you want to be a member and that you are not a computer. Find your email from the forum, click on the verification link and then log into the forum.

With forums, take a look around at what other members are posting. If you see affiliate links, or website links in the members signature lines, you will be able to use that forum to market your product as well. Sometimes, however, you do not have access or the privilege to add a signature until you have posted so many comments on the forum. Try to find forums that allow you to post your comments immediately. When you find them, go into your profile and edit your signature. You will only want to put affiliate links or website links in your signature that relate to the topic of the forum. Only put one or two links in your signature.

After you have joined the forum, and set up your signature, visit the forum on a regular basis. Look at the topics discussed, and answer or post comments for the readers. You really want to put some thought into this though. Do not just post a generic answer. Other members will not want to see what you have to offer or click on your link if they do not trust you. A good, helpful answer or comment will give you a better chance of someone checking out your product. One thing to remember is "You Tell and Then You Sell." This is very true in forum marketing.
