Forget Not How Great A Talent Is Committed To Thy Charge

Forget Not How Great A Talent Is Committed To Thy Charge

There's an ancient mystery text called Unto Thee I Grant. Full wisdom. Full, like the pyramids, of the wholeness and fullness of life-you know there's mystery. How deep?

There's one phrase in there, or one statement, that I've always liked. I've taken it myself, personally, as an affirmation. It has become a belief, and it is manifested in my life and has given me the lifestyle, the life profession, that would be a logical outcome of that.

Remember, this whole process is think and grow rich. This whole process never said, "as it is given to you"...you know, take what you get, be thankful! No, this whole process we talk about is a creative process. It's an individual co-creation, infinite intelligence. The All That Is, something that manifests.

So just think about it. You think-your thought is an act, the first act in a series of things that eventuate in your action, which eventuate in the results you get.

Now, what if you thought there were guides, there were masters from the unseen realms, there were angels, running through your veins, through your consciousness, expressing through you? As another saint said, "It is not I, but the Father within, who doeth these works."

Here's the statement: "Forget not how great a talent is committed to thy charge."

Now, there are a lot of presuppositions that can be beneficial for you in your big efforts and your big quests. There's that "Forget not..." reminder. We always need to be reminded.

As my friend, Emerson Brantley, says, a lot of times because we're used to our gifts, we're accustomed to them, whatever they may be, and we tend to value them least.

Other people say, "Wow, you can write such a good sales letter!" and you go, "Really? Ah, it's nothin'." They say, "Your writing is inspired!" and you say, "Ah, anybody could do it."

Then why are they all coming to you? "Your music is beautiful, it almost makes me cry at one moment and then fly into ecstasy the next!"

Hey, enjoy what they're saying-you are getting the feedback from the environment that your gift is there. Remember, "Forget not how great a talent is committed to thy charge." In other words, my friend, you are supposed to do something with that gift.

Something productive, something that makes you fulfilled and contributing, actualized, and gives you plenty of income, gives you the ability to live the lifestyle you want, develop the friendships/relationships you want, prepare your future security. Something that makes the world better at the same time.

That talent. That's what it's called. And remember, if you're a Biblical person you understand the Parable of the Talents also. It is related.

"Forget not how great a talent is committed to thy charge."
