There has to be an easier way then to compute calories needed to lose weight. Dieting is hard work. We all know somebody who is perpetually on a diet. What a bore they are, talking about dieting all the time. Who wants to live that way? Food is one of the greatest pleasures in life, so lets enjoy it without shame or guilt.

Consult your doctor, if you are at an unhealthy weight, he may refer you to a dietitian. You do not want to jeopardize your health. Obesity can lead to Diabetes, Heart Disease, joint problems and more. Try to find a diet where you will lose the weight gradually overtime and do not forget to exercise. In the mean time, you will learn a different pattern of eating. You will not feel deprived or starved to death.

Dieting this way. the weight will come off and stay off. You have also learned a new lifestyle and attitude toward food. Counting calories needed to lose weight is still an option, but it is a tough. Be careful not to restrict calories too much that it is not healthy. There is nothing wrong with counting calories needed to lose weight as long as it helps you learn a healthier way to eat.

Food is fuel for our bodies to function. If you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. The opposite is true for losing weight. Whatever diet you choose make sure it is healthy, has at least 1500 calories, and prepares you to eat healthier for the rest of your life. And, do not forget to exercise.
