Forex Expert Advisors - Why Don't Banks Or Professional Traders Use Them?

The simple reason there is no system that calls it a Forex Expert Advisor which makes money long term, they all lose because they're based on unsound logic which we will discuss in this article.

Ask yourself this question - if a piece of software which costs a mere hundred odd dollars, can produce gains that are better than the world's top fund managers (who are on millions of dollars a year in salaries and bonuses) why haven't all these fund managers been sacked and replaced by Expert Advisors? After all they're cheaper, produce bigger gains, don't fall sick and supposedly don't make mistakes and they can even predict prices in advance!

Of course no serious investment house would use them and the reason is obvious:

Despite all the claims, not one of them can produce independent verification of profits over the long term. You do get back tests, knowing all the closing data but that's not real dollars, that's paper trading. Some Expert Advisors even produce real results but as they sell the system, it would be comforting to have independent verification.

The logic that you can make up a track record in hindsight, knowing all the closing prices and say this track record will repeat again is ridiculous.

If we all knew tomorrow's price today, we would all be billionaires many times over but the real challenge of Forex trading is trading without this information. It's a nice fantasy, getting the good life for the cost of a dinner for two and never having to work again but it's a dream, not reality.

If you want to make money at Forex trading, then you won't be surprised to learn, you have to make an effort and do some work! You have to learn skills, which give you a trading edge Over the 95% of losing traders. If you do treat the Forex markets with respect and get a solid Forex education, no other venture can make you so much money, in relation to the effort you have to put in.

Anyone can learn to a successful Forex trader so don't dream about making money, make it a reality, by learning Forex trading the right way.
