Foreign Currency Exchange Trading Tips: A Day In The Life Of A Forex Trader

By:

Trading the Forex is a journey of self discovery and self-discipline. Personally, my life changed drastically when I became a Fx trader. I realized that the world was not what they told me as a young man it was. I was taught by my parents (and society) that you just go to school, then have a job (a 9 to 5 job), and after that achieve your dreams. First of all, initially when i first started to work I realized it was not that simple to make money and get ahead in life. Eventually I stumbled onto Forex trading, and from the moment I became a trader my entire life changed and I have never looked back. In this particular foreign currency exchange trading article I am going to discuss how successful Forex traders organize their days to get the most out of their time.

Setting goals every trading day:

Pro traders set up daily goals and define what they want to accomplish every day. To become profitable and consistent you need to create achievable goals, create a plan to achieve those goals, and especially follow through.

Following a routine is very important:
Professional and highly profitable traders are exceedingly disciplined and have a consistent system that they follow everyday to analyze the markets and find new trading opportunities. I have my own and you need to get and develop yours if you are serious about creating wealth in the Forex.

Adapting to the changes that Forex brings to your life is vital:

In my case Forex changed my life drastically (let me emphasize that the majority of of the changes have been good). I dont work in a strict schedule anymore; I make my schedule and work and trade when I want to work. Im also able to work from wherever I wish to work. Ever since i have started my trading career I have been in over 20 different vacation destinations including Miami, Daytona Beach, Tampa Bay, Costa Rica, the Caribbean beaches, Siesta Key (rated in the top best beaches in America) and several other more. I am not saying this to brag but to give you a real life demonstration of what Forex currency trading could do for you. One of the few disadvantages I have experienced is that sometimes I need to trade the market at unusual days and hours (sometimes I trade on Sundays night). However, the benefits totally outweigh the disadvantages. In essence that once you become an FX trader your life will change in numerous positive ways and accepting these changes is going to be crucial to make a successful transition from a normal life to a Forex traders life.

Controlling your emotions and making rational trading decisions is a must:

Full-time traders (including me) are always in command of their emotions and they keep their head cold every time they trade the markets. The reality of the matter is that when you let your emotions take control of your trading you will be very likely to commit mistakes and lose money.Over the next couple of days I'll be posting another article as part of my selection of foreign currency exchange trading tips that will overview my daily trading routine. This way you can learn how I organize my trading day and how you should organize yours likewise.

To your trading success,
Jay Molina
