The number of people opting for foreclosure property in the United States is increasing day by day. The option of mortgaging a property, or any other significant object, allows buyers to take loans, and then make repayments is a periodic manner. This option is a good one for the buyer as long as he or she is able to make the loan repayments on time. Foreclosures: the US dilemma

The process of foreclosure functions in this way: the mortgaged property is repossessed and sold when the buyer is not able to meet the payments. The lender sends an official letter demanding that the owner make the overdue mortgage payments, and this is known as the Notice of Default (NOD). An NOD is usually issued when the homeowner has delayed making the mortgage payment by three months. Taking this threat into consideration, the owner will have to work towards repaying the loan. In the instance of them failing to do so, they will lose all claims to the property, from whose premises they will be evicted. And the property will then be sold. Foreclosure property offers great deals for prospective buyers as the lender institutions try to sell them for low prices, in order to attract buyers.

A foreclosed property, though a cause of regret to the previous homeowner, is a boon for prospective buyers, often being sold at very affordable prices.
