Footwear Every Woman Should Possess!

By:

It is a very common trend to own several pair of shoes in order to have at least one pair for a specific type of occasion. Although it is not a practical thing to have a new pair of shoes every day, you will need a different pair of shoes to match different occasions.

Dressy Flats:
While getting ready for a special occasion such as an interview or meeting, opt for classic and simple flat shoes rather than killer heels as this will give you more of a relaxed and casual look. Metallic or suede with embellishments such as crystal or sequins provides the flats with a formal look. Before wearing flat shoes, always keep the length of the dress or skirt in mind. Knee-length dresses or skirts do not go well with flats, so a short or a little longer dress would be a wise option.

Creative Flats:
Many styles and designs of clothes appear and vanish within the same season and it's the same with shoes as well. Currently flat shoes are one of the latest trend. A casual sweater, jeans worn with a tee shirt looks formal and fashionable ensemble with stylish and yet simple flat shoes. Imagine a cardigan with dark jeans, funky flats and designs such as leopard, madras, newspaper print or swirls, making their way onto flat shoes! If these designs seem to be too flashy, then opt for a metallic or leather to make the same style of footwear appear simple and yet stylishly classic.

Stilettos: More commonly referred to these days as killer heels!
Stilettos are fancy shoes that have continued to remain a favourite among women for years and will still remain for years to come! The main benefit of stilettos is that, from cheap brands to luxury designers, they offer you loads of various striking options to choose from. Usually, if you are planning to purchase your pair from a less famous retailer, then it is better to look for neutral colours because the very bright ones may look cheap and tacky rather than chic and stylish!

Moreover, neutrals can get more versatile than reds, blues, or yellows. Should you find it very difficult to wear your stilettos for long periods of time, then the other option you can consider going for is kitten heel. It is often easier and softer to wear and yet still gives the same lift of the heel. Fashion gurus advise that if you can't walk properly in killer heels opt for another style as wobbling and tottering around does not give you a chic and elegant look!

Women who wear plus size clothes may find that killer heels are not comfortable, however, many retailers are now offering extra wide styles which provide comfort as well as elegant style, along with a whole host of flats and wedge heels to give you the opportunity to have as many pairs of shoes you want!
