by The institute of chartered accountant of india (ICAI), post graduate diploma in taxation from Pune University and diploma in law of taxation with administration law from Annamalai University. National board on tax consulting also conducts an examination and after clearing it one can become a registered tax consultant. The jobs opportunities in the field are many and lucrative. An individual can join a consultancy firm at a fixed salary. However, if you want to be your own boss, then you can also start your own firm and become an independent tax consultant, however customer prefer a CA for this job.


An individual who wants to be an auditor must have to clear the CA exam conducted by ICAI that has three levels i.e. CPT, IPCC and Final. The CPT can be taken up after Class 12. However, a Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce or Company Secretary Course or ICWA Course can also help one get internal audit jobs. Auditors can get associated with a CA firm or even start their independent work as an auditor or consultant.
