Keep the affair light by only focusing on the present situation. Do not imagine a future with this woman. You can't afford it. If you invest emotion into the affair you might have difficulty cutting off ties should the situation become too tough for you to handle. Remember that by treating the whole situation as a way of just having fun, you prevent yourself from becoming too attached to the affair and avoid unnecessary future complications.

5. Do everything that you can to keep the whole affair a secret from your wife or husband. How do you do this? You can do this by making sure that you cover all trails of the affair. Erase all messages like call logs or emails that you receive from the other person. Do not share passwords to your email accounts with your wife or husband (or have a secret account which may be the best idea). If you you've already given her permission over your email accounts, just use other fake accounts when you send messages. Also, don't act suspicious like suddenly going to a quiet corner when talking to someone on the phone. You don't want your wife to have crazy ideas and start asking questions.

Another very important thing to do is make sure you erase all marks your other woman left in your body or personal things. Things like a lipstick mark on your suit, or a strand of woman's hair in your coat could bring some unwanted questions to your wife's mind. More importantly, have a shower before going home after a night of steamy sex with another woman. You don't want to bring her scent with you when you come home!

Having an affair could become ugly if you are not being careful. Remember to be alert at all times even though you think your secret is safe. Trust your instincts, and the moment that you realize you are very near from being discovered, cut all ties and come out clean. As long as you do what you have to do at all times, you won't end up in a mess.
