TRACKBACKS
Trackbacks refers to a communication from one
website to another that the first website has a link to the second. Most blogging platforms have this functionality built-in. When content is published and contains links to another website, the originating website sends a message to the linked-to website. Google site intended to help webmasters. This site allows a webmaster to register a website with Google and provide a sitemap to assist the google search engine with indexing their website. Google publishes data on registered websites including top search queries, top links to the site, and errors. Google captures lost of data. This data is made available in a companion too called

DISQUS
Disqus is a service that manages comments primarily for blog posts. Users setup a profile on Disqus where they can add personal information e.g. profile picture etc. Disqus tracks comments across sites that use the system enabling users to can see a consolidated grouping and aggregation of their comments. The system also notifies authors when they receive a response.
