Just because youre single, that doesnt mean you have to be miserable this Valentines Day (or any other day for that matter). You can celebrate being single by throwing a party with your other friends who are single. Nothing is more fun that getting together with some friends to enjoy some good movies together. These are some entertaining movies you and your friends can find on satellite TV that celebrate being single or make relationships look unpleasant and undesirable.

1. Its Complicated stars Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, who wind up tangled in a love triangle. Baldwin and Streep have been divorced for a decade, and Streep begins dating Martin. Baldwin becomes unhappy with his life and the younger woman he left Streep for, so he tries to win Streep back. Streep is tempted to reunite their entire family, but as the title suggests, things are complicated. Watch this unique film on satellite TV.

2. Emma Stone stars in Easy A, a film about an innocent high school girl who tells her friend a little lie about losing her virginity. That lie spreads like wildfire, and pretty soon the entire school has heard about her sexual encounter. That lie quickly evolves into several and Stone soon becomes labeled a slut by her classmates even though she is still a virgin. She embraces her new reputation at first because it brings her more attention, but she eventually realizes its not the kind of attention she wants.

3. War of the Roses stars Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner as a middle-aged couple that is going through a nasty divorce. They cant agree on anything and are willing to destroy everything in order to ensure that the other person doesnt get what they want. Their wild antics are mean, funny and flat out crazy, and they put each other in physical danger due to their rage. Find this dark film on your satellite TV channels.

4. In Gladiator, Russell Crowe stars as an army general who is chosen by the king to become his successor. The kings son decides to kill Crowe and his family in order to prevent them from taking the throne after his father dies. Crowe survives but his family does not, and he vows to avenge their deaths. He winds up in prison and is forced to battle to the death against other prisoners. Watch this action flick in high definition to fully enjoy all of the special effects and impressive fighting scenes.

5. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet star in the unrealistic film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Carrey and Winslet are drawn together and begin dating. Although they do not realize it, they have dated and broken up before. After their break-up, Winslet had her memories erased so she wouldnt have to relive any of the pain, and once Carrey found out, he has his memories erased as well. See this wacky and experimental film that is both sad and full of hope on satellite TV.
