Peloponnese is a large region and peninsula in the southern Greece that forms the integral part of country south of Gulf of Corinth. In recent years this part of Greece has become very popular with tourists staying in holiday rentals in Peloponnese.

Another exceptional Peloponnese festival that appeals to a large number of tourists is that of Ancient Drama Festival. This festival is popular for conducting stage performances and shows of various Greek plays.

Visiting the archeological attractions and sites of Peloponnese is another thing to do. One of these sites includes the Mycenae, the King Agamemnon's home and the site for the start of Iliad, the Greek epic. Another attraction worth visiting is the Ancient Olympia, birthplace of contemporary Olympic Games.

Last but not least, enjoying the vibrant nightlife and entertaining environment at the bars, clubs and dance venues is another thing to do while staying in Peloponnese.
