While it tends to drag on at times and does have some vulgar humor, those who are looking for a different side of everyone from Ben Affleck to Chris Rock and Alanis Morrisette will find it here in this often-forgotten piece of celluloid history.

#2 - A Prairie Home Companion. It's the perfect film for family time, a loving tribute to one of the best radio shows that America has ever produced. With fantastic performances from a truly stunning ensemble of actors and the chance to see Lindsay Lohan onscreen one last time before her complete implosion, it's a rare Robert Altman film that manages to make people feel infinitely happy and quite sad at the same time. A great choice after dinner with the relatives.

#3 - The Warriors. New York City used to be gritty, and Texans who are used to a difference pace of life will get a hoot out of this 1980s cult classic, which has inspired everything from video games to bike races in New York City. Campy, fun, and a more accurate version of "West Side Story," it's a look at roving packs of gangs that sometimes gets campy enough to laugh at, but is mostly just a great slice of 80s entertainment.

#4 - Inside Job. While documentaries about the economic collapse might not sound like the best form of entertainment, this one is one every Texan and American should watch. With Matt Damon narrating and interviews with some of the most important world economic forces, it's definitely a whole different picture on how the higher-ups have been trading on the have-nots long enough to burst everyone else's bubble.

#5 - Dancer in the Dark. Most people know Bjork as the crazy woman in the swan suit from the Oscars a few years ago. This is the film role that got here there, and while it's not the best uplifting choice on satellite tv, it is something that intelligent filmgoers will appreciate as a devastating and incredibly well-developed independent film deserving of attention.
