Touch is an amazing sensation. The device in discussion was called the HTC Wallaby aka XDA which popped its head in the market in the year of 2002.However , if all models and devices are taken into consideration then its none other Apple to whom goes the credit for coming up with the first touch screen concept in the market. Apple was actually the very first company who had first proposed and then eventually gave wings to their dreams by launching touch screen phone, However , it wasnt a regular mobile phone that uses a touch screen as we see these days but a landline phone. In terms of chronological evolution of touch screen phones Apple stands way ahead of others with the first touch screen phone inception in the year of 1984! There is a little bit of history that is attached with the phone which says Marc Esslinger was the brain behind the first touch screen phone concept. He is the same man who was also responsible for the Apple IIc which happens to be the first ever portable computer launched by Apple.
