Fires Are Certainly Bautiful And They Are Also Certainly Deadly

Have you ever thought about all of the colors of fire? Most people do not, they only see red. But a fire has many different shades if you think about it. You have the colors of gray or black from a fire that might not be close. Then you also might see the color of orange under this layer of black as it shows against the sky line. If this fire is close, then you will see the shade of red. To some the sight of fire is beautiful and they will start a fire just to see the colors. These people usually are called fire starters or arsonists.

All fires can be pretty, but usually they are not and the destruction they cause are anything but pretty. The mess these fires leave are usually so bad that no one wants to even go near the ruins. The odors that come from fires are usually very stinky. In most cases the remains are very hot to where you could not even get close enough to know what you are looking at. A firemen in most cases would know what he is looking at just by getting close. They have to deal with this every day so it is nothing unusual for them.

We have several hundred fires a day, so you really need to try to stay ahead of one. Put smoke detectors in your homes and keep them in working order. If you have a business building you can put some of these in it as well as fire extinguishers and fire alarms. It is a good idea to do a fire drill at least once a month or so. You will also need to check the batteries in your smoke detectors on a monthly basis as well. You will need to keep a chart that will tell you when you need to change those batteries. These smoke and fire detectors only have a 5 year life span so you will need to mark the date on these so you know when to get new ones.

You will need to always remember that a fire has life and it will destroy whatever is in its path to stay alive. It has no thoughts, no conscience, no fear and no remorse. Teach your children about fire safety and fire control. Teach them an escape plan so they will know how to get out of this fire. Tell them not to play with lighters or matches as these will burn them. Always try to be fire proof no matter where you are.
