Fire Trucks Are Hero Vehicles

By:

Siren: A creature from Greek mythology, daughters of a river god, beautiful island women who used their beautiful singing and music to lure sailors to sail towards their island. These sailors were so enchanted by the music that sailors would not even notice as their ship was dashed to pieces on the rocks, after which the sailors would drowned.

Interesting that the noise makes on top of emergency vehicles are also called "sirens." Sirens these days cause a lot of eye-rolling and sometimes a fair amount of cursing, but they still draw attention of the people who hear them. The sound is not enchanting, but it certainly does lure people to wherever the sound is coming from , as long as it is not so far as to be inconvenient. If a siren goes off behind a person while they are driving, there is usually an adrenaline rush until the person realizes they are not the ones getting pulled over. However, there is one siren that no one gets upset to hear.

A fire truck is something that people associate with "rescue," "hero" and "very cool." Every little boy remembers the really cool fire engine in the toy store, and both boys and girls are very excited to get a fireman costume on Christmas morning. When people see a fire engine driving down the road, unless there is something much more important to do or the truck is going far, the people around it will follow to see what is going on. A fireman is never seen as a villain, they are always a hero, and people want to see the hero in action.

However, keeping a fire engine is not easy, and when a fire truck breaks down, it is very expensive to replace. Not every city has the budget to replace a fire engine every year, or even every five years, so when one breaks down completely, beyond safe repair, it is difficult for smaller cities to keep their fire department functioning. These cities have options too, the biggest one being used fire trucks. When bigger cities upgrade their trucks, the used fire trucks they get rid of are not always beyond repair, or even broken down; these working trucks can be sold to off-set the cost of the new trucks, which means there are used fire trucks available for sale! Osco Tank and Truck has a nice selection of refurbished hero-transporting vehicles, so come down and find a truck for your city and a very reasonable price.
